HEREFORDSHIRE & POWYS
LINKS
Look at
me!!! - I was browsing the local BBC website
the other day, only to find that they had no MTB section in thier
extreme sports bit!! Shocked, I emailed them saying that I thought this was a
very poor show, and this is the result!!!

Bike Manufacturers
ORBIT UK - My Road
bike, which I've had since I was about 15, is an Orbit America. Still going strong. A really nice bit of budget kit that has
outlasted my training buddies flashy Pinarello, which
has now snapped twice! (Teehee!)
We rode those bikes come hell or high water, snow, rain, ice etc. A religious
20 miles flat out every night round the lanes in the Pembridge
& Kington areas, often stopping for our fourth
meal of the day at the chippy in Kington,
stuffing our faces sitting on the bridge over the Arrow, then belting back home
round the lanes at full tilt! The Pinarello is being
shipped back from
TREK - My
current off-roader is a Trek 7000. I can't fault it.
It's a great ride, super light, stiff and sharp. The muts nuts. Love it.
Diamondback UK - My
first off-roader (which I sold to buy an airline
ticket to
Whyte
UK - Had a go on Jerry's Whyte (thats Jerry from Roughrides in Kington), it was
interesting, but I'm afraid I know nothing about these newfangled full sussers and although it seemed pretty cool I couldn't
imagine hammering down a mountain on it whilst trundling round the car park. I
would love to try hammering down a mountain on one though!!!
